Running since 2003, Concours de Courts is an international cultural event honouring: short film. More than just a competition, this gathering invites film lovers, students and the public at large to discover short films from the 4 corners of the world, in an atmosphere of sharing and exchange between professionals, experts and amateurs.

Concours de courts has 4 stages :
- Call for candidates: A call launched for projects by national and international directors.
- Film pre-selection : Reception of the films from the candidates and pre-selection by a jury composed of professionals and film lovers from Toulouse.
- Public projection: Two screenings of the pre-selected short films, 10 of the best short films will be chosen by the audience and the public will vote for its “coup de cœur” short film.
- Closing evening: Broadcast of the competition’s best short films, prize- giving by the festival’s jury, the result of the public vote for its “coup de cœur” and free cocktails for the audience.
This competition is held in Toulouse and organised by students taking their Masters in the Administration and Management of Communications (Master 2 AGCom) from the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole, the second oldest university in France.
