Les Réalisateurs de demain
The mini-series Les Réalisateurs de demain gives a voice to the young generation of filmmakers. Students from Toulouse share with us their career path, their aspirations and the cinematographic challenges of tomorrow’s short film.
This project is part of the Festival’s strong desire to highlight the talents of tomorrow, notably with the creation of the “Premier Court” prize. This prize rewards the very first short film made by a filmmaker.

On 30 January 2022, the Concours de Courts team went to the filming of Emma Brunet, a student at ENSAV for a year. We started shooting at around 2.30 pm, and already noticed the great professionalism shown by the students. Each one has a dedicated role: director of photography, camera assistant, director, script supervisor, first assistant director, sound supervisor, sound engineer, electricity supervisor, grip, set designer, 2 stage managers, head of line…. Emma is busy directing her technical team, while accompanying the extras and her young actress.
